    Temporary bans apply to all xbox accounts?


    I was temporarily banned from communication on 7/4/2017 and it ends on 7/18/2017. However the next day on 7/5/2017 I was sent an email saying that i am banned from playing online games until 7/18/2017, In addition i was sent another email saying i have been
    banned from communications for 100 days. When my sister logged into her account she too can't play online or talk and send messages to friends. Why is she also facing the ban? I can understand a two week communication ban, however is a 100 day ban really necessary
    on top of two week ban from playing online games? I have reasons to believe that i was mass reported by a group of 3 players for not playing a "meta hero" in a competitive overwatch game. Enforcement team please look into this because i feel like i have been
    wrongfully banned based off of that groups opinions. Also there's no reason why my sister is also facing this ban.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    The enforcement team do not use the forums.

    You can go to the enforcement site
    here     for info on any bans/suspensions you have & to file for a case review if eligible.

    Being "mass reported" will not get you suspended.You'll only be suspended if you are caught violating the ToU/CoC.

    Anyone who abuses the reporting feature risks enforcement action themselves.

    Permanently banned console and account

    Please redownload the account and that usually fixes this temporary problem of not being able to talk after your communications ban has expired:

    Keep in mind that the suspension ends exactly at the same time of day it was applied on, on the last day. For example, if the ban was applied at 3PM, it will expire at 3PM on the last day.

    No one is punished for any reason there is a prior investigation before applying a temporary or permanent ban.
