Temporarily turning off xbox

Good morning,

I am having an issue with my son's playing Xbox too loudly. I would like to know that if there is a way that I can temporarily turn off the Xbox from the account and reinstate it remotely. This may have to happen repeatedly and I want to do it while not
damaging the account.

If it's a standard account the easiest way would be to either disconnect it from the internet (change wifi password, disconnect network cable, or block it on the router), or to change the password on his account. If it's a child account of yours, you would
