Telus OneGuide

I can use and watch tv though my xbox one but ONEGUIDE does not work with telus optic, I need to use my remote and control my tv as normal.

To those people getting zero picture you have to make sure that your cable box is turned on or else you will get a black screen saying can't read signal or feed from hdmi make sure cable box is on.

either then that its just like using tv as normal I wish and hope telus optic works with one guide soon. I know telus had an install dvd for 360 so you could use your 360 as a second pvr and it works great. So I guess it will come sooner or later

Using it with telus as well. Only downside is that you have to use the telus tv guide as the xbox one is no go.

Hopefully this is an appropriate place for this reply. I did a search for "Telus" and didn't get a lot of hits, so hopefully I didn't miss a relevant post somewhere.

Before I make the switch and hook up my Telus Optic TV through my XB1, I would like to know if other Telus customers have had success. It sounds like from the previous comment that there is no Telus Optik TV support for One Guide. Is that true?

Anything else regarding Telus Optik TV that I should be aware of?

As for the second, we have no word given to us about other providers that will start working with the Xbox One. We would suggest you continuing to check with xbox.com for updates on that.

G'day rwmshunda! Currently One Guide channel information is only available in the US, so no Canadian providers will be able to view channel details at this time. We're working to expand that availability this year though, and announcements/news will likely
drop first either at majornelson.com or
news.xbox.com. Check back there occasionally for udpates!
