    If you are seriously considering the walking dead you need to watch at least one clip of gameplay. It isn't a game, it is a story. If you want a prototypical game I would suggest Alien.

    I think Isolation will be very good, but for certain people. It's unpredictability could be a big turnoff to some, but that's the biggest appeal it has to me.

    I actually watched a Twitch stream of it yesterday... I found myself just watching it like the TV show. Pretty interested in it now.

    "The Walking Dead" was interesting on my iPhone but as a console game it leaves much to be desired.

    To it's "Walking Dead" credit the game is actually presented in the same style as the Comic Book that inspired the television series.

    However unlike the Comic Book or the Television Series this game is about as exciting as a glass of water.

    Sometimes you need to give a game a 2nd chance. Something might happen to put you off playing it and enjoying it the first time around.

    I picked up the "Game Of The Year Edition" with all the episodes in one to give it a 2nd chance only to discover it was just as dull as I remembered it.

    "Alien" and "The Evil Within" should both be much better games and if you were stuck between the 2 go for "Alien".

    Let me put it this way: we know about The Walking Dead; however, we don't really know about Alien: Isolation (since it hasn't released yet). Would you rather get something that's already proven itself or take a risk on something that nobody really knows
    will be any good? Frankly, I'd take the sure bet. Telltale's Walking Dead Games or Alien & Evil Within? ;)

    Any one of these games would be a great choice, but if I was in your situation; I would pick The Walking Dead :)

    Like "Galactic Geek" said in his post, this isn't a FPS or Action game; it is more like an interactive movie :)
