Telling Tales?

As a fan of JRPG I like the "Tales of" franchise, I have played a couple of them now and have a favourite, it's Tales of Graces F.

If you are a fan of the franchise, what's your favourite entry in the series?

[/quote]I have not played Vesperia, but if you like the franchise Tales of Graces F is £12.50 in the PSN January sale, Ni No Kuni is only £6.50 it's almost theft buying those two great games for so little!

Unfortunately I owned them both before the sale, as usual, lol.

 

The only thing I've picked up in the January sale so far is Dragon Age: Origins, which makes four times I own the game (regular edition on 360 and PS3. Ultimate Edition on 360 and PC.)

[/quote]The sale price for DAO was very keen, I was tempted to buy it too, but I done it on Xbox, and did not feel it warranted another purchase, besides that, I don't want any EA games sullying my PSN profile, lol.

 

I only ever played Vesperia. I thought about picking up anther Tales game but 3D Dot Game Heros is on my future list atm.

 

I have only played Vesperia as well. Great game, though.

 

I believe my favorite would have to be Tale of Genji.

[/quote]I am not aware of that being a game in the "Tales of" franchise, and a quick google search suggests the same, are you referring to the Tale of Genji book?

 

^^^^Of course. And it only needed a single Tale, not this multiple Tales stuff. I swear, games need to learn how to tell stories better.

[/quote]I never follow the stories in games, it's all about the gameplay for me, so I don't mind multiple games from the same franchise, providing the quality remains the same in terms of gameplay and content...

 

Xillia is great, only finished Judes story so far

 

Tales of Symphonia is my favorite followed closely by Vesperia. I literally just started playing Abyss yesterday so I'll see where that lands when I complete it.
