    Telling me to purchase other ways, but can't


    I am trying to purchase a game (Portal 2) on Xbox One S. Online it said even though Portal is Xbox 360 it is backwards compatible with Xbox One. When I try to purchase it on my Xbox it asks to purchase it on xbox.com or xbox 360, but when I try to purchase
    it on xbox.com it tells me to purchase it on my Xbox. I already looked at a bunch of different solutions but none of them worked. The main thing people said were that your account is a child account but mine is an adult account. It also already has funds on
    it too.

    Stop telling me to use other ways when i'm using other ways, but i'd like to use that way also, all I want is for the perk to do what the description says it does and thats to keep me off radar while moving whether it be crouched, prone, side to side etc.

    I'm trying to change my son's account to an adult so he can purchase using the website. I've changed it using the Xbox 360 to an adult but it's still telling me on the site I can't purchase. How do I fix this?

    By any chance are you trying to use the credit on your Microsoft account? If so, I would like to let you know that you can't use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase content from the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

    To resolve this issue, purchase the item on your Xbox 360 console, where you can use your Microsoft account balance to make purchases.

    Hey there Emily, you cannot buy Xbox 360 games with Microsoft Account funds on the Xbox One, you'll have to do it on the 360.

    Hey there Emily, you cannot buy Xbox 360 games with Microsoft Account funds on the Xbox One, you'll have to do it on the 360.

    I don't own an Xbox 360. Does this mean I can't purchase the game at all?

    With me, it's the other way around: I can use PayPal on the Xbox One, but can't use it when I want to purchase games on Xbox.com.
