Tell me why its worth buying the Xbox ONE

I have just talked with the chat support Gabbie I believe it was. Although she was nice and trying to inform me the best that she could but still did not answer my questions.



I would like to know why I should not just drop Xbox all together and go PS4? With all the goodies One has come out with plus the 8 core processor to process multiple apps and all it is not backwards compatible, and with the lack of games coming out
right now for the ONE, we are forced to go between consoles 360 to the One and back. At this point you could have the machine massage my back and i still don’t know if I should buy it. You can access everything you have purchased as far as video and music
goes but the downloaded games I spend lots of money on and still play I have to ditch!! Plus you have to go out of your way to talk to a vendor for a dual license for the games have bough this will take hours of MY time to do this. Why do I want to pay 500
plus for the console with no game at all and not be able to transfer my digital downloaded games? Plus the multi-player servers are separate so right now you have split the Xbox users in half and are forcing them to bounce from there old 360 console to the
ONE. This makes it more appetizing to go out and buy a PS4, because at least I can play PS4 games and switch to my 360 that has all my games on it that I play!!!. I still have my apps and I still have my games at least. Xbox will continue to release game on
the 360 as well. What’s the use of the new features to the ONE if I’m going to have to bounce from console to console? I want a console that I can completely ditch when the new console comes out!!!! The Xbox rep I talked to said the ONE has a lot to offer,
however it is unusable if I have no games to play on it, it is worthless without my previous games that I paid a butt ton of money for. The engineering of the ONE seem great it makes me want to buy it!! BUT these few issues are unfortunately the deal breaker
for me. I cannot be switching back and forth, i do not want to keep my 360 console just to play my games on it, To me if Im forced to use my 360 i will just keep that because I still have my entertainment, my apps, my games. I can do without the cable box
integration with the TV feature, and the cute little hand and voice command. Microsoft you are not making a great case for ME to stay loyal to you!!! That disappoints me greatly because I have been with Xbox since the beginning!!



What will Microsoft do for me if I get this new Console because right now I can blog these issues, I can also send some columns out to some gamer mags and well known websites and also not recommend this device especially with reputation as an IT manger.
Convince me that the Xbox One is worth it!! For me and future users. The end user is not going to be satisfied unless you make it worth the money it costs to buy it without having to jump through these hoops.



You may tell me to do what I want because one person is not going to affect your sells but I have connections with cloud service providers, multiple computer vendors, IT engineers, Network security administrators, application providers all of which
may be influenced to use other software’s and OS's other than Microsoft. My job is to make recommendation to these people especially the cloud service provider!! Like Hosting, Rackspace, Insight federal accounts to name a few. My recommendation for what equipment
to use and what operating systems and or Mac or PC decision making should be made. Along with Facebook Twitter, Pinterest, Friendster etc... My reach is far so please remember this when reviewing my post. I know how you guys like to ignore the little man but
I am letting you know right now I am not a little man and I can affect your sales period!!



So please help me understand why I should buy a $500.00 plus product when there are not really any reasons to do so. I would like to stick with Microsoft and Xbox because I have been very faithful to you guys in my private life and in the workplace
and I am certified in MAC and PC so I can swing either way. I just am appalled with the launch of the ONE and really not that happy with your Windows 8.1 either. I feel that the ONE came out to early and could have made backwards compatibility work with the
ONE platform. You could have fixed a lot of problems by being ready for your launch. the One have been out for 4 months almost with hardly any good games coming out, titanfall comes in 8 days but should have been ready with your launch.



Please make it worth it for me!!

I could be wrong but it sounds to me like your trying to either talk yourself out of it or trying to get others to convince you. Of course I like to get other people's advice/opinions but at the end of the day if I can't look at something and think ... "Yep,
that's good for me" .. then I would at the very least wait or look elsewhere.

Also, you will no doubt get different opinions from everyone, example if it was for me to decide I'd definitely say go for the Xbox One, for the online service, joystick, games, features but it's different for everyone so again if you can't look at it yourself
and think .. "That's for me" ... then I would at the very least wait.

Maybe i just cant relate to this users problems. I have my X1 and enjoy the games on it and the graphical boost but i have in no way ditched my 360. It sits right beside it hardwired to the net with my X1 with the Help of an ethernet Switch. If i feel like
playing a 360 game i turn that on if i feel like X1 i turn that on, it really is that simple. Thanks to Games with Gold ive always got some game i havent played before to bounce back to if i get bored of X1 or if there is a lull in games.Best of both worlds
for me.

 

Follow the games, stop making console wars.

Go where you have the games you want to play, and if that is the case on both systems, then go earn extra money and get them both.

shot yourself in the foot with that comparison. Also, you'd still be paying for Gold on the Xbox, and paying for PS plus if you want multiplayer on the PS4... Instant extra expense.

Just buy one. PS4 is a piece of cack!

 

This whole wall of "I'm important!" text made me roll my eyes. If you're so important and influential, don't you think you owe it to the public to have both systems and judge for yourself?

 

there really is no reason to buy the x1.

its disapointing the x1 could have been great but its a ship thats slowly sinking.

 

I think you would be best trying out the console for yourself, I love my Xbox One and my friend has a PS4 which I dislike, these are my own opinions however and I would strongly suggest you ignore most of what you read on the inter web and try it first hand.
Despite what some may think it's only 3 months into a 10 year life cycle, the 360 games and apps were awful compared to now, it's going to be similar this Gen but with much better textures and complex games.

 

I enjoy playing games on my xbox one, and it doesn't bother me to have my 360 beside it. The PS4 isn't backward compatible either, but I'm not twisting anybody's arm to buy something I like.

Nobody should have to "talk you into" buying anything, if you want the Xbox One get an Xbox One, if you want a PS4 get a PS4. At the end of the day its your money, you do the research and decide for yourself.

The only thing I would say is that your argument about not wanting to "bounce" between two consoles is stupid, on the one hand you dont want to "bounce" between the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, and yet your perfectly happy to "bounce" between the PS4 and the
Xbox 360, really?
