    Tecmo arcade classic


    Hi folks, I have tecmo arcade classic for the original xbox, I have a 360 and the game won't play, it's showing up on the menu, but when I start disc it is telling me to contact support. I have tried to change the game resolution like I have read on other
    forums but no luck, I have tried other games on my xbox360 and they all play fine.

    does anyone have any ideas on how to get this original xbox disc to play ??

    Best arcade football game on X360?

    With NFL Blitz released and having loved NBA Jam: OFE, I'm in the mood for a great football game. Not a sports fan, hate sports games, but NBA Jam is the sports game for people like me.

    I used to play a bit of Blitz on Arcades back in the day and liked it. So, what's the best arcade footballer? Backbreaker, Backbreaker Vengeance, Madden NFL Arcade, Tecmo Football, NFL Blitz, etc.

    Maybe it's just one of the original Xbox games that can't play on the 360. Some original Xbox games will not work. Also make sure that your console is up to date on the software.

    Sorry, I thought your list was all original Xbox content. Not as helpful as I thought I was being, sorry.

    At the risk of causing some annoyance after popping in thinking I was helping when I wasn't, Dead or Alive Ultimate came to the 360's backwards compatibility list on December 14, 2006. The original Xbox release was a two disc package with disc 1 being Dead or Alive 1 Ultimate and disc 2 being Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate. Nothing new was added to the 360's backwards compatibility list on the 15th. All that they're doing is selling disc 1 and 2 individually rather than as a bundle like it was sold as in physical form on the Xbox.

    And I suspect Star Wars: The Clone Wars never actually left the BC list in actuality. Tecmo Classic Arcade was another "removal" from the official backwards compatibility list that has never been re-added, yet to this day the disc still triggers the emulation profile to download and the game still works. The removal was in name only with the only tangible result being that they stopped publicizing it as compatible (In Tecmo Classic Arcade's case, presumably because the game only works when the 360 is set to 480i or 480p).
