Technology is making and also preventing a buzzing noise in my mic

Yesterday I was just playing a game while in a party with some friends while out of the blue, my mic just started making an ear piercing buzzing sound that eveyone + me could hear. I have tried multiple things and items and ruled out the possibilities of
it being

-My controller

-My mic/headset/adapter

-My xbox's power box

-Source of power for controller (Though cable plugs worsen the sound while batteries are quieter)

-Means of connecting mic

-Location

However, very recently I have noticed that the buzzing sound will dampen the closer my controller is to the mic piece on my headset, cable or batteries, but also increases the sound when something like a phone, tablet, xbox, ect.. is close to it.

I've tried removing every piece of technology out of the vicinity except my xbox, for obvious reasons but is still about 5 feet away from me, but will still buzz. I've also restarted my console, resynced my controllers, updated said controllers, used different
cables/batteries/outlets and almost everything that a human would think up for this problem.

I genuinely am stumped here an hope that someone here has an answer maybe??

Problem with brand new...

I get the buzzing noise when my mic is plugged in but not being used. Unplugging the mic stops this.

Hey all!

This isnt something i need alert help on, just something i really want to ask, that some of you may be experiancing.

Ok, everytime i charge my controller and also insert my mic to talk, me, and sometimes maybe other gamers can always hear like a buzzing sound coming from my mic, now, my mic doesnt actually show its making a noise on screen, because the mic symbol doesnt
show it, however it is making a buzzing sound. My question is, is there a make to fix this, or are Microsoft/Xbox working on this problem directly?

Thanks for all the details. Very helpful. Real quick, to help out everyone better, what type of headset/mic are you using?

 

Currently I am using a HyperX Cloud 2 headset, but(shouldve mentioned this in my original post) It is not the mic as I have gotten the same buzzing sound from any combination of 3 controllers and 4 mics with or w/out an adapter.

Thanks for reaching out! We'll try our best to help you out today. I see you have tried quite of bit of trial and error already including testing out multiple combinations of headsets/controllers. I want to make sure this isn't software related by performing
a
factory reset while keeping your games and apps.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.

If this doesn't work, I'd appreciate if you would elaborate on your hardware setup. What kind of controllers are we dealing with? What is going on with the part you used in parentheses? and anything else you think could be a contributing factor. Thanks in
