Technical Support Disappointment

My experience with Microsoft support has not been a great experience. I will start with a refurbished Xbox One 500GB console I purchased in Nov. 2014 from the Microsoft online store. The console was great for the time it worked. I started noticing strange
behavior on the console before it failed. It started allowing me to play games that required a disc to never request the disc. It failed after it received an update last year. From that point. I was involved in a wild goose chase with Xbox support and the
Microsoft store. I learned that my console never received a serial number printed on the console. I could not load the console to get the serial number. They refused to repair. I am now experiencing another failed console. I check for the serial number now.
Hopefully, this repair will go as planned. I have to say that my last interactions with support for the previous console have diminished my confidence with support in general.

Technical Support?? Really?!?

ask for a supervisor.the cs reps dont know alot,and most cant/wont help you.

ps3 is hella worse,so you cant threaten to go there.as for losing his gamerscore etc...you gotta choose losing money or being safe.

o ya have a talk with your son,you cant hack live accounts.info was given out,wasnt really a crime in that case.lastly you have paypal on your sons account why exacally?

all you have to do is ask for the account to be frozem,ask for a recovery.change the password,after talking to your son about goving out info first tho.

Huh? Whatcha mean? When I was having intermittent troubles with Microsoft Edge, and had to report the issue, I was asked for the serial number of my console. I know it's in the system settings, but as I was in a chatroom using my Xbox One at the time, I
simply had to get up off the couch and peek *behind* the console. Every Xbox has a serial number engraved on it! By "loading" the console, I gather you meant "booting" it? Anyhoo, why are you buying REFURBISHED models instead of new ones? Are you that budget
conscious?

The DLC will be in your ‘ready to install’ in your Games & apps when it becomes available.

MK11 may also prompt you to update the game when the DLC becomes available.

I would suggest going to the ‘Home’ screen on your xbox console and “Quit” the game MK11. By doing this, the game may prompt you to download the DLC once you launch the game again.

Hi Mistadntplay82,

Have you tried the following steps already to locate and make sure the items are installed?

Go to My Games and Apps

Locate Mortal Kombat 11 and press Menu on your controller (the button with 3 lines on it)
Select Manage Game
Scroll all the way to the right on this menu to see what DLC is Ready to Install and start the install for Nightwolf or the other pieces of released Kombat Pack content that you are trying to download.
