    Technical question?

I live in the United States but I'm currently visiting Mexico and I happened to come across an Xbox series X. If it breaks down or something can I still send it in to Microsoft in the us?

    Technical question

Are there many consoles/computers using the internet frequently in your house? Especially when your are playing online?

If so then your internet connection can be reduced when they are all on at the same time.

Im not sure if this is what you are needing but i hope it helps.

    Hello!

My name is Dérek, I'm an independent platform consultant and I'm grateful for the opportunity to help you.

Carlos, the warranty is valid only at the place of purchase of the product.

If you bought it in mexico, the warranty is valid only in mexico.

But out of warranty, you can pay for the repair normally.

I remain at your disposal if you have any further questions.

    Xbox One technical question

You sum it up very perfectly. Why indeed should people have to go through these needless hassles?

It just seems to me that Xbox One is still in a build where it still operates as an "always-on" console and the system update they bought out to disable it only partially works.

Only a few months ago Phil Spencar cited one of the reasons why certain games have extremely bad install times is because many games were developed with the assumption that Xbox One would always be connected to the internet.

"The change to having to deal with an offline-only state meant that all the install code-flows weren't as perfect as they could be." - Phil Spencer.

Maybe certain games are still being made under the assumption that Xbox One needs to be connected to the internet and this is possibly whats causing the console to automatically switch the offline settings withoutout the gamer even choosing to do so?

Either way this is not good news. At least I am aware of these problems still persisting and will continue to steer well clear of buying the Xbox One for some considerable time yet.

    Xbox One technical question

Yes, I suppose I could have unplugged it from Network but the point being, why should I have to rearrange my house and my Network when a Setting is specified on the Console for Offline.

It should stay Offline until I decide to turn it back Online. Further, a Profile should never be Signed out automatically because I couldn't connect to Xbox LIVE. It should be default persist in the Offline version of that Profile until the User decides. I
was the one who put it that way (Offline), why does the Xbox One decide for me when it goes back Online. Straight up stupid trying to be simple but making things more complicated in the end.

As for the original 24 Hour plan, meh It was only intermittent of about 2 hours Online, 2 hours Offline for about 6 hours. It well met the minimum of within 24 hours.
