Tech Issue - Xbox Network Problem

Hi,

I have been having some very annoying issues the last few days on my Series X. I am unable to send or receive messages, unable to open specific tabs in the settings menu like privacy, LFG sometimes doesn't work, I get randomly kicked from party chat, ect... The same issue happens when I am connected to the internet on my phone via the Xbox app, but when I turn off Wifi all is good and I can send and open my messages. Does anyone have any idea on a resolution for this? Thanks.

Unfortunately each device has different layouts and naming. Maybe it's the same port you put in at the beginning. It's worth remembering that even messing with your router your ISP can block it on your network anyway

My ISP said they will not do this for me but I am trying to do it myself. I am logging into my router. Do I just go to Virtual Servers / Port Forwarding and add each of these? Is asks for a range?

Clean your console's MAC and restart your internet devices.

Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate MAC address and Clear.

If the problem persists this may be because your ISP is limiting or blocking the ports that Live needs to function properly. I recommend calling your ISP and asking to open these ports.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Also ask to put the IP of the console in the DMZ zone, if you need additional ports this function will take care of that.

Hey network techs out there, could MediaCom be having issues with allowing ICMP on the network or is this terminated at the user's router iteself?
