TC's Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Never played it B4 , but picked up 2 copies of this game for little to nothing yesterday, (1 loaded, the other didn't but having it buffed it may solve the problem) and thought I would see if anyone was still playing this game online.

To my amazement Yes! Plenty in fact.

So I got excited and was about to join in a random game.. Until I remembered... I gave up online gaming via the Xbox when I read on the Halowaypoint, and confirmed on the Xbox forums, that all it takes to get you banned is one person cheating within a match.
So I figure I'll just save these 2 games for possible System Link gaming at a later date.

Have yet to beat the campaign but from what I've seen thus far. It's not too shabby for an older game, in fact the visuals are just as appealing to the eye as those of COD AW.

As well as to a lesser or greater degree that playing online can lead to being banned.

I would like to try the online MP of this, and ALL games (105 in all) I have. But since I only have 1 hand with which to control a controller designed for people with two hands, that the "POWERS THAT BE" might view my getting killed quick as cheating.

I paid good $ for 12 months of Gold and apart from GwG simply cannot use it out of fear that others may see my shortcomings as attempting to help others boost, or something.

So if YOU can't add to the premise of this thread. Please find another to post in.

After reading 100s of threads over the years, within these very forums in fact, with touch on said subject. Myself, I would call it Strong insite.

Yes, paranoia. I don't think I have ever heard of someone afraid of being banned from XBL because they were terrible at a game.

 

Not that I am "terrible at a game." But rather, physically handicapped. Yet I do pride myself on being able to play games with one hand.

That being said: I read on these forums that "You can be banned for any reason." in more than 20 + threads, and more than a few mention "boosting/helping others to boost."

Where do you think that leaves me? Say you invite me to play COD AW, and I accept. Now while we are playing, you can run/jump/shoot/and dodge almost all at once. Me, I have to stop/aim/shoot/then try to dodge out of trouble.

Now, lets say your good and can easily gain XP or whatever the game requires at my expense. And someone reports YOU/US. Now, you and I both know that all we were doing was trying to have a match. But the powers that be would NEVER see it that way now would
they?? Remember, once banned you can't reverse it.

Thus knowing what I now know. I deleted all my friends, and apart from Spartan Ops SOLO - will never play online with/against others again. In this way I can assure myself that I never played a part in getting someone banned because of my physical shortcomings.

 

In all the years of posting on these forums, I don't think I remember anyone having an issue with getting banned by being in a match of RS Vegas 2. I'd say you're safe to have a go online.

 

Believe me when I say. I want to play RS Vegas 2, as well as COD-AW online in MP mode. But there is that lingering doubt in the back of my mind which strongly suggests.

"You'll be placed into a match with people who cheat and it'll be you who will get banned and lose all your digital games/DLC and it's just not worth taking the chance!"

It's as if cheaters are drug dealers, yet it's more often than not, random users who goes to the slammer.
