  1. Tax Return gaming?

Since I know a lot of people are getting their tax returns this month anyone planning on using some of that to buy any game related items?

As for me i'm just using some of it to pay off my pre orders for Mortal Kombat X and maybe getting one of the new 3DS's if I can find any in stock.

    :)

    Sold out.

GS should do this in the U.S. now. It's tax return time they could sell a boat load.

  4. Tax Return gaming?

    I don't get tax money until June/July.

I did recently get one of those new 3DS' though, very awesome.

I'm currently waiting for RE Rev 2 though!

    Awesome!

Hows the new 3D screen? I never even used the 3D on my old system because I hated having to find that sweet spot all the time.

  7. Haha, ok, I don't want to turn this into a Nintendo 3DS appreciation thread, but this is the first DS I've bought so I've got nothing to compare it to and I've always hated 3D and wearing the classes for it to work, just to give you some background.

I was actually very impressed in the depth and image presented with the 3D and at first I was trying to hold my head perfectly still and be completely centred, but the console then told me to move it at an angle (this was during set-up) and the affects/depth
stayed very consistent, I tired it with a game and had the same experience, it felt like wherever I held the console, I could still see the 3D working and it didn't just disappear or anything.

Though I really got the console for the nostalgia factor, having the original Mario Bros on a hand held is just swell.

  9. They actually came out in Australia 21/11/2014, so for once we got something before the Americans, haha.

Anyways, I hope your tax return brings you joy in the form of gaming!

  10. I got my money but I'm not spending too much on gaming. Right now the only thing that would make me excited would be Fallout 4 and that's not coming out until next year.

I used my tax return to make some improvements on my house. Right now there is nothing I'm excited about in the world of gaming. I popped Dragon Age: Inquisition back in over the weekend and that has re-hooked me.

  13. Tax Return gaming?

I spent my tax return on a new desktop PC after being stuck on a laptop for a while. Not top of the line but still pretty beastly.
