Tax for DLCs, (or games, avatar items. etc)

Quick question does anyone know where the tax goes when you say buy a DLC for Forza 4 or some other game or avatar item. is the tax State tax (say illinois) or Federal tax?

I mean I dont really care but I'm just curious

Do I really lose game contents if I made a brand new second Xbox Live account?

Okay, so the big DLCs like map packs or all the Mass Effect 2 DLCs I bought (new missions, charakters etc.) should be working, but not the personalizing things like armor parts for my ingame character or avatar items?

Does something exist where I can see which contents are usable with my new account and which are not?

As I mentioned it does not include in-game or avatar items. Personalization items such as skins, etc or items specific to your avatar are not included.

It would be state tax since it varies depending on where you live.

I don't mind loosing .50c but really would rather have something to show for it, as that .50c actually represents more than .50c when you add in the cost of Petrol, as well as time spent looking for a MS card in the big box stores, and lest I forget. Taxes
paid on the initial transaction.

So I guess I'll look for avatar items! They don't charge taxes on DLC/Avatar items do they?

It works for any dlc you have purchased, avatar items, gamer pics, addons... etc.

Tax is charged for every transaction on the Marketplace, avatar items included.
