Task Bar and Top of Window Appears When Playing Certain Game Pass Games

For certain Game Pass games (Final Fantasy 15 and Frost Punk for example), when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen, the task bar will show up and when I move it to the top of the screen the top of the window appears. In the games option I have
it set to run in full screen mode. I have tried hitting alt enter as well, but that doesn't help. In the task manger I have tried to restart explorer.exe with no luck as well. Also, it seems like sometimes the resolution of the screen is off, all the text
will be blurry until I got change the resolution in the game and then change it back to what it originally was.

The only thing that works is force closing explorer.exe completely, but that solution isn't ideal.

Has anyone had this experience before and have any ideas on a fix? It only happens with certain Game Pass games. Some Game Pass run fine with no problems (Gears 5 and The Outer Worlds for example) and I haven't had this problem with Steam games either.

I have the game set to full screen in the games menu. Is there another place to change it as well?

Yeah that's what I'm currently doing, and it happening in more than one game, so I think it's not a specific game issue. I just hoped there was a better solution.

Is there an option for Windowed mode? I haven't played those specific games to test, but some games have Full Screen and Windowed mode, which can run in conjunction. A Full Screen + Windowed mode would exhibit the symptoms you're describing, which is
being full screen, but still have the window options available. If there is a Windowed option, turn that off.

Hello the only way to do this

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc key while playing game, this will open Task Manager.
Look for Windows Explorer process, right click on it and select End Task.
When you want the windows back, open Task Manager by following Step 1, and click on File.
Click on Run new task, type explorer.exe and click on OK. Windows Explorer will be restarted and you will have all the windows back again. yeah thats the only way sry if this does not work click here https://support.na.square-enix.com/main.php?la=1&id=14961

I have the same issue with Diablo IV on the xbox game bar. The game was install using battle.net. It appears the xbox game bar recognizes it is a game however, my status only shows online. I believe this is the only game so far that I have encounter this issue. The resources top task in the game bar shows battle.net as high and not Diablo IV, but the task manager shows Diablo IV. Call of Duty was installed using battle.net as well; however, xbox game bar shows the status as playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
