taptiles won't work

same problem as everyone else. Purple taptile shows and starts to launch and immediately goes to the taskbar. I have a pavilion touchsmart

Not loading Mahjong

Having the same problem In the last few days with both Mahjong & Solitaire. Solitaire was working & Taptiles wasn't. Now Solitaire won't work, but Taptiles does.

 

Error code 0x80073d05

Have had major problems with taptiles. Not loading or loading and freezing. Uninstalled Taptiles and tried to reinstall kept getting error code 0x80073d05 I have done the reset but still keep getting this error code and won't install. What is wrong. When
this game works it is great.

 

All of my xbox games quit working on my laptop. Most of them were upgraded and paid for, so I'm really frustrated. I would like to know what to do to get them working again. I miss the daily challenges. Please help me with this.

 

I have the same problem and I think it's related to MS updates. Since KB2962806 & KB2934520 installed - Taptiles and MS Solitaire Collection won't open!

Yes I'm having the same problem too.. Click on taptiles and I get the purple screen, sometimes with a error code sometimes not.. I hope this is sorted out quickly..

 

My husbands pc plays it just fine, but mine does the splash screen and minimizes. I've noticed that all of my apps by microsoft do this too (microsoft solitaire, mahjong, etc.) The rest of the apps are fine.

 

well, here we are, over 3 years into X-Box games through Windows Ache, 'scuse me, meant Windows EIGHT... and we still have major and long-lasting outages. Maybe Windows 10 is the answer. Nope, not there either, I cant get the Start Thingy (their cop out
to the dinosaurs) to work for more than a couple of hours, then the whole shebang becomes unstable. As to those of you who upgraded, place a cartoon SUCKER lollipop over your heads. I bought the LCARS theme and AB Star Wars and lost them both when I had to
remake my user because User account control couldn't keep my business user and personal user straight. There has to be an answer. Maybe I'll invest in an abacus and a TI calculator...

 

Was having trouble signing in for the Microsoft Solitaire collection, and this morning the same thing happened with Taptiles. What is the problem?

I saw on the forum for the Solitaire game that the problem was supposedly fixed. It wasn't fixed for me and now it's happening with Taptiles. Please give some helpful feedback regarding this. It will be very appreciated. Thank you.

 

After leaving my posting here, I went in to the Windows Store and synced the licenses, uninstalled Microsoft Solitaire and Taptiles. I then reinstalled both game apps, and they signed me in and the games ran smoothly.

Don't know what caused the problem in the first place. I still have to uninstall Microsoft Solitaire, Wordament, Microsoft Mahjong, and Taptiles each morning and reinstall them. That's the only way I can get them to run.

This recent problem I suspect had to do with all the Microsoft updates recently. It happened the last time there were so many updates.

I just wish I could find a fix for those 4 games so I wouldn't have to uninstall & reinstall them each morning to get them to run. It's been going on for a long time and it's a tad tiresome to say the least.

brand new hp 15z touchscreen laptop . game worked for 10 did the update and will not work at .. clicked on the ap and just flashes on then off. would like to have this issue fixed. even did the uninstall and re-install as stated but that did not work.
