    Tapping "Y" Button Not Working?


    So, I just started playing the game in backward compatibility, and seem to be having a frequent problem. Often whenever a prefect grabs me, and I'm prompted to tap Y to escape, Jimmy struggles a lot and barely even tries to escape his grasp, and eventually,
    I get busted. It usually only occurs during missions. It's not the only event, either. During the big fight with Russell, if he grabs me, I'm told to rapidly press Y. I do, and Jimmy barely resists. I pound the button as fast as I possibly can, but nothing
    happens. Same with the "Character Sheets" mission, where you get in a ball-kicking contest, and have to tap Y to get up. I don't see how it could be a user error. I spam the **** out of the button, and Jimmy barely fights back. I managed to successfully escape
    other prefects while off of a mission. I remember very rarely having this problem while playing on 360. If anyone knows a solution, it'd be appreciated.

    Xbox One March update: SCREENSHOTS!!!!!!

    You know how when you double tap the Xbox button it brings up the thing that allows you to choose to snap, switch between your snapped or main screen, or unsnap? And it also has X for record? Now it has Y for screen shot.

    Same oroblems here. Im up to "Finding Johnny Vincent" so Icant even progress through the story any more.

    I just sent in a request to Rockstar to address this issue. Wish they'd put some focus into the game that they've just re-released instead of pouring all of their time into GTA Online. I'm not even gonna bother playing if I'll end up getting stuck entirely.

    I just sent in a request to Rockstar to address this issue. Wish they'd put some focus into the game that they've just re-released instead of pouring all of their time into GTA Online. I'm not even gonna bother playing if I'll end up getting stuck entirely.

    The basis for his idea is that on the Xbox 360 there was no double tap to go anywhere, you pushed the button for the guide menu (Snap Menu now) and when the menu was up you pushed Y to go to the dashboard.

    Currently on the Xbox One you can do this with the X button to record a clip, but there is nothing for the Y button.

    Simple take away the double tap feature (which only works 75% of the time for me) and make it so if you want to go home you push Xbox Button then push Y.
