Hello Patrik,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Keyboard functionality should just be plug in and play without any extra steps necessary. If the keyboard is not working, then it may not be compatible with the Xbox one.

Things you can try are :

1. Test out different USB ports on the Xbox
2. Power cycle your console
   first, then plug in your keyboard
3. Test a different keyboard

I thought X-box had USB-port.... Universal Serial Bus.... My misstake...

Is there no interest from your side to solve a problem?

So far you have just asked us to do the most common thing.. make sure the console is on, try all USB-ports, read the manual that don´t say anything about the keyboard issues. Ask Asus if the keyboard is supposed to work as a USB device...

I'm so far not impressed by your effort.

We have tried with a basic keyboard as I wrote erlier. We have also tried to do a ”offline update” on the console, but no succes. I did not think so, but we tested.. What have you done?

We hope you have some updates coming so the keybord will work.

Hi Support.

We have tried all USB-ports with no success. Start up the X-box with and without the keyboard connected and with a standard keyboard. The only time we got any success is with a standard keyboard. The Asus Cerberus with backlit is not working for some reasons
we cant figure out why... Please look in to it to see what’s missing on/in the X-box One S Console.

Hey there Patrik,

Before we can start to troubleshoot the issues, we need to be able to know whether the manufacture has actually compatible with the Xbox One Consoles, as Njal the Blue has already said. Once we know this we can start to find the errors.
