Talking On Xbox Problem (Mic Not Working)

After my second Xbox voice communication ban ended, I noticed my Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50X headset was becoming rather inconsistent in the sense that when I logged in completely, I wouldn't be able to speak but could hear as if nothing
was wrong(however, the sound would emit from the tv, not the headset) At first this was not much of a problem seeing as if I muted myself or the party I was in, the mic would then proceed to work normally for a long period of time before the same process was
needed. However, after a month, the mic would not work at all and I've only found recent success in waiting for more than 2 hours for the possibility of talking in a party within a short burst of about 1 second and then one night, after a 30 minute process
of these short bursts, it would slowly come back within shorter intervals for longer times until it was constant speaking for an hour before going backwards and giving me less and less time to talk and wait longer to do so.

While I have been mentioning the mic itself as if it is the culprit, I believe it is more the Xbox through some event, the reason I believe such is because whenever I was unable to speak, my profile in a party would show a caution sign
on it and say, "Some of these people don't have mics, head to system settings." Or something along those lines which would guide me to my controller setting which were no help at all.

Another possibility could be the Kinect I have constantly plugged in, but I see no reason for such besides my paranoia, seeing as my Kinect has been connected to the xbox since I have gotten it and has never shown such problems.

I understand that this problem may be a bit foreign or there may be something I have left out that could be the problem, so if there is something you need to know before helping me with this, please ask. Thank you for any help you can bring.

i had communication enforcement

i had communication enforcement and it should have been gone earlier today, around 2:00a.m., its not 3:09 in the afternoon. My mic wont work on my xbox that was previously working i tried talking on a different account, remote and even tried a different
mic. My mic works fine on my PC but not my xbox account.

 

Xbox One Controller Shuts Off Whenit Mic Is Plugged In.

When i plug in my xbox one mic into my controller the controller shuts off and will not turn on again as long as the mic is in it. Was working fine then while i was playing and talking to my friends it shut off and will not function as long a my mic is
plugged in even a little. Any explination to this? Faulty controller or what?

Definitely an odd situation but we should be able to figure out what is causing it!

Can you send us the following info so we can investigate further:

• Does this happen with multiple controllers and on another console with that mic?
• Do you see the same error with another mic?
• What NAT type is your console displaying in the Network settings?
• Does the same thing happen if you do unplug the Kinect?
• Could you send us a photo of the Audio settings from the console?
• Does this happen regardless of who is in the party?
• Have you tried
  soft factory resetting the console by selecting "keep my games and apps"?
