Tales from the Borderlands "Purchased but not Installed"

    Tales from the Borderlands "Purchased but not Installed"


    Recently I saw the entirety of the Borderlands Telltale series was free when we have Gold. I played Episode 1 years ago and just recently reinstalled it. I noticed when I go to play the other episodes it says I need to download them, when it takes me to
    the download menu it says "Purchased but not installed". I read up trying to remedy this error but nothing seemed to have worked.

    I have done the following things:

    1) Deleted and Reinstalled Everything from the Store

    2) Moved Everything to my Internal Hard Drive from my external

    3) Reinstalled Everything Directly to my Internal Hard Drive

    4) Reinstalled directly from the Windows Store Online

    5) Reinstalled directly from the in game download menu which took me to the store

    6) Restarted my console after each of the five previous steps

    Hi TombOfAnubis. When did you make that purchase? We don't see a Tales from the Borderlands Episode 2 purchase in this month, but we do see a Tales from the Borderlands Complete Season (Episodes 1-5) purchase made in November.

    The game is free but the additional chapters aren't. They is a nominal fee. I think it was like 7$ to get everything.

    The game is free. The additional content isn't. They released the first chapter for free. which you can play and anything beyond that you have to pay. Just like Life is Strange and most games that are similar.

    Turn off the console and unplug it for 30 seconds (clears cache and turns all apps off)
