taking screen captures on xbox one while streaming using xbox companion app

i stream my xbox to my windows 10 laptop using the xbox companion app and connect a controller to the laptop to play, this works perfectly. if i try to take a capture or a clip i get a message saying it cant be done while streaming. i recently installed
the game bar app in windows and that allows me to capture screens and clips. but if i try to upload them to xbox live i get a message saying "game not recognised" this is because the game bar app thinks the game i am playing is "xbox companion app" this is
what it calls the game when i take a screenshot no mater what game i am playing on the xbox.

how can i upload my screen captures to xbox live?

Red dead redemption 2 but all games are the same because the game bar sees the game as xbox console companion

Captures work fine when not streaming. The problem is down to how the game bar and xbox console companion app work together . The game bar doesn't know what game I am streaming

You can stream from your Xbox One console to your PC using the Xbox One companion app. You can then use Screen capture software like OBS or Stream Labs to then stream to any of the streaming sites or all three if you wish. There is even a service called
Restream.io which will bring the chat together from all three streaming sites (Twitch, mixer, youtube).
