Taking off the parent account

I have had this x box for a while and i know all the information of both accounts and can log into both but it is unnecessary and i want to remove the adult account and just make mine they main account. I have had this xbox for like 7 years

or is there anyway to move all the DLC i have bought to a different account?

i am 16 is it possible to make someone else the parental account?

Hi, Protms. If you are now 18 or older you can promote the account to adult status. You might also try contacting support directly via
support.xbox.com/contactus and explaining the situation. Keep in mind that you may need to offer verification that the account is yours. Also note that support is closed on weekends.

As for transferring your dlc, unfortunately dlc cannot be transferre between accounts. If it does come down to making a new account, you will still have access to the dlc licensed to that console while you use that console. This is because when you make
a purchase, it is available to every account that uses the console the purchase was made on.

Thanks for coming to the forums. If the account is still a child it is recommended to keep the adult account assigned to the family until the child account graduates to an adult account. If you are an adult and made a child account in error there is

ways you can prove your age. As on Xbox.com you are unable to change the birthdate at all.
