Takes too long to sign into Xbox one.

Try an remove your profile from the console , shut everything down and re add the profile when it all comes back up.... that will usually clear things up...

The screen was frozen we couldn't do anything, in the end the computer gave us an error code so had to email Microsoft and someone rang me back and we did a system restart, now everything is working as it should be, but thank you for your reply and trying to help.

Our suggestion for the issue being experienced, attempt all variants of
Restarting the Console.

If the restart is not assisting with clearing this error, attempt a Soft Factory Reset while keeping games and
apps:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files

Note: This step will remove profiles, so be sure to keep all information for signing into any/all accounts.

The error you're receiving isn't listed in our
System Update Troubleshooter flow, so we're going to try some basic steps outside of what you've already posted in here for me. If you're seeing an error code, that means you should be seeing the "Something went wrong" screen, correct? If that's the case,
I suggest clicking the "Troubleshoot" button if you have that available. It should give you the option to keep your games and apps so that you don't lose anything. I've got the full troubleshooting steps quoted from an article below for you.

Let me know if this works! If it doesn't we will want to dig more into that error code to see what our next steps are.

If you’re still experiencing a startup error, you should reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. If you need to bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter again, follow these steps:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.
   
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
   
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.
   

To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option
will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
