taken king dlc issue

was talking to xbox support and bungie support all day yesterday about my taken king dlc that suddenly stopped working, after being sent back and forth i have finally been told to post here to get a new code, basically i purchased the legendary edition of
destiny and it came with codes for the dlc, i entered the code and everything was fine the dlc has worked up until yesterday, it said it requires the taken king when i already had it so i talked to xbox support and bungie support and they have gone through
every step to get the dlc working again, one of the last things i tried was un installing the game and all dlc and reinstalling all of them, the problem is once i did that the taken king just wasn't in the manage game section anymore, all other dlc was fine
but not the taken king, it's very strange because i have played the game for months with no problems and then the dlc suddenly vanishes, for some reason the licence isn't there anymore either which i am told should never happen but has. i don't think there
is any other option than a new code for the dlc, bungie has told me that xbox handle any dlc licencing and that i need a code from xbox for the dlc and to phone up and ask for a supervisor if i am not given one because i have the dlc but it isn't showing up.
on the bungie page on my profile it clearly shows that i have the dlc and that my character has a lot of the items only accessible from the dlc. i also have achievements from it, i really don't think i should have to pay for another code when i did nothing
wrong and my dlc has stopped working, it's a fault on xbox's end and i spent almost all day yesterday trying to sort this out so i would appreciate some support on here and a new dlc code please.

Alright all the disc includes is Destiny. It does not contain The Taken King. The Taken king is a DLC.

 

Destiny The Taken King..

Since its an expansion/ DLC it might not be up yet.

The Taken King itself is $40 if you already have the game and all the DLC.

If not you could get all that for 60.

Very sorry to hear about the issue. Unfortunately we're unable to provide codes for The Taken King DLC for Destiny. We are only able to assist with codes that were sent over Xbox Live messages, not codes that are included in physical copies of games.

I definitely recommend contacting our phone support team to further troubleshoot the issue, as we are also unable to provide account support on our public forums.
