    hi, i bought an xbox 360 and the last owner let the parental control on, it s impossible to play or dwl games from the store

    i bought the xbox in video games store , so i dont know the last user , how can i take off the parental control ?

    How do I take the parental controls off my Xbox? I was 4 when I got it and My parents put parental controls on it. Now I'm 19, and can't figure out how to take the controls off because the email address that homes the password to me "parental consent"
    account doesn't exist anymore. How do I take the controls off?

    I bought a pre owned xbox, and it happened to have parental controls on the console. the original owner cant remember the password, and i was wondering if there was a way to take it off somehow?

    Go to setting and take off the parental control and make sure you are using your main account if all fails you may need to reset your console to factory setting but only as a last resort

    Hey there Pie!

    It sounds like he's being blocked from purchasing content by a parental control to me. I would suggest taking a look at this page (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-parental-control)
    and then take a look at the parental controls placed on your son's account and see if that's blocking him from being able to purchase DLC and such.

    You could ask the owner of the adult account to disable parental controls, and download the game that way. Then, when you are done downloading the game, the adult can turn the parental controls back on.
