After playing several games of conquest this morning, it occurs to me that most players have no grasp of tactics. For instance, people don't seem to understand that if they are playing as infantry, they should support their teammates that are using armor,
that is, the various tanks.

Tanks are frequently overwhelmed by foot soldiers attacking en mass. But rarely does anyone take advantage of that to run up a kill streak, instead running away from the tank, leaving it to be destroyed, or worse yet, abandoned to the enemy. One should take
advantage of this bait that draws the enemy like flies.

Another point is that when you're trying to capture a flag that has a bunker as part of the objective, if you lock the doors and leave them locked, the enemy will have a much harder time accessing you and that beloved gun turret.

And why not spawn on your squad, rather than just keep trying to take that hard objective where the much sought-after sentry kit lives, only to be greeted by two squads just waiting for you.

Finally, why not PTFO? You may actually win a few games, while preserving your precious KDR. After all, winning is a lot more rewarding than just running up your kill count.

So true. Frustrating to see everyone perked up in one area going for kills and leaving objectives to fall to the enemy

What I try to do is use my controller to scroll through the squad mates and look to see where they are and spawn with the largest group. But that doesn't always work (sometimes I can't scroll through the squad list and other times, the squad is in the middle
of being squashed by a superior force). And yes, there should be a medal/ribbon for throwing supplies and medkits for your team. Personally, I throw that stuff around like party favors, and like yourself, would like some recognition for it.

 

I agree, a lot of players either have no thumbs or are just a bunch of Helen Keller's. Another piece of advise when it comes to playing solo, is to play a supportive role. Either medic or support. I most play the scout class, but I sure don't site at the
edge of the map. Also when it comes to the scout class player need to use their spot flares more often, even if they are kind of sitting back the need to spot more for the team instead for themselves. I could go on all day about what players should do. Pay
attention to the chat screen, and in the settings turn the language to their own language. But unfortunately players are clueless.
