System won't stop recording clips

Title says it all. ALL options related to the DVR in preferences are off and it keeps recording game clips non-stop in every single game. I've turned them back on, then off again, and nothing changes. I turned these options off the day the console came out
and had no issues with it until now. Ever since the last system update last week or so, it refuses to stop recording clips regardless of how many settings I disable.

It's unbelievably obnoxious, extraordinarily enraging, and it needs to die and stay off. I can't do any more than turn it off, which I've already done. Does anyone know of a way to resolve this issue?

How to delete movies that are recorded downloaded?

Stop them from recording in the first place (in settings). Gets annoying with 100s of unwanted automatic clips being recorded every week. (ie.fifa clips).

 

DVR problems.

Yes I have this problem and its really annoying. Having the DVR recording makes FIFA14 slow, sluggish and delayed in gameplay online and offline so I like to stop the DVR recording. Now however even with DVR turned off it keeps recording and saving the annoying
auto record clips.

This has been happening since the last system update.

Are you turning of Automatic DVR by navigating to Settings >
Preferences then untick Record gameplay with Game DVR?

Verify this option has been is definitely unticked, then hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on. The system will turn off. When you hit the button again, it will start and display the green start-up screen. All your data is preserved,
but cache is cleared.

The option to turn it off looks like it's changed, and cannot be disabled anymore.

 

I noticed this after the last update.

 

Oh yeah, just noticed that.

DVR uploads can still be disabled through Settings >
Preferences, then untick 'Allow broadcasts and Game DVR uploads', however will completely disable the functionality of broadcasting to Twitch and manually recording game footage through saying
'Xbox, Record That!' or snapping Game DVR.

If its more the notifications that bug you during a game sessions, then I believe you can disable the notification through
Settings > Preferences, and unticking 'Gaming & System Notifications'.

These may not be the best answer but the are certainly workarounds if you don't use Twitch or DVR.

 

I have it unchecked like you said but it still records game clips when I rank up on bf4 etc. I just don't understand why they removed the option to disable auto dvr recording. Btw I don't use kinect either.

No it happens on dr3 also, it says game clip recorded but it actually doesn't record if you know what I mean and this as only happened since last update, I got this console on day one so never happened before.

 

I turned the old ato dvr option off the day I got the console and it's only since the option changed it started happening.

 

It's exactly as he has been saying, there is no longer any way to prevent the system from recording game clips. It's unbelievable, and one of the most annoying things I've ever experienced on a console. It needs to go away and I am straining to not use more
colorful words in saying so.

I can't say I have come across the issue before mainly because I don't play Battlefield 4 and I however doing a little digging online I came across there does seems to be an issue with the way the game is programmed with the Xbox One, however I did come
across this solution:

In Game, head to Options and Disable Head Tracking and Leaning

 

The best option would be if they made it so I could turn off the auto DVR recording the same way as before the update, it happens on FIFA 14 as well every time the goalkeeper saves the ball, also people are having issues on the trails game.
