System will randomly spit ownership errors at me. What is going on? How do I fix this?

I own an Xbox One. Lately when I've been playing The Long Dark (My favorite game lately) I'll be playing for a random amount of time when suddenly the game will spit an error at me saying I don't own the game and that I need to visit the store to buy it.
Sometimes I can just go back to my game without having to reboot the system, but sometimes it will spit that error at me over and over and over until I'm ready to grab the system and chuck it in a bin. I do sometimes have issues with my internet connection
as I live on a college campus and have no control over NAT settings and what have you. However, when this happens, the internet connection is working. 19 times out of 20 there is no apparent reason, especially when it repeatedly does it and I have to exit
the game in order to reload the last place it apparently saved (meaning I'll lose out on potentially a large amount of progress depending on what I've been doing.

How do I fix 100% packet loss

I've had this happen at different times. I'm convinced it is most likely a Xbox Live issue that happens briefly and randomly... although it wouldn't surprise me if it were a lizard *** issue since it never happened until they entered the picture.

In any case, try power cycling your modem/router and Xbox. If it is an issue with one of those, this should fix it. Other than that, all you can do is check for service alerts and wait it out. You definitely won't have good online performance with it that
way if you can get the game online at all.

Error 74 (E74) would indicate hardware failure; your only options would be to send it for repair or to purchase a new one.

You see error code E74 when you use your Xbox 360 console. Error code E74 is preceded by the following message:

[table][tr][td][/tr][/table]

This means that your Xbox 360 has experienced hardware failure and needs to be repaired.

Solution

To get your Xbox 360 console repaired at our service center,
Submit a repair request.

Note The warranty period for the E74 error is three years from the original purchase date of the console. If your console is not covered by the three-year warranty period, you can still get your console repaired for a fee.

 

Try performing a hard reset like this to see if it will help. This does eliminate a lot of different type of errors.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
the results.
