hi my sons xbox one s has a update but every time it gets to 15% and freezes so every time he trys to go online it re directs him to the update any help would be appreciated

Thanks for your post! Do attempt to update the console from another internet connection, sometimes if necessary protocols are blocked, it can cause issues with downloading and installing updates. If the issue persists, attempt a soft factory reset, this
type of reset will keep games and applications installed to relieve the need for redownloading your games again. Here's how to do so:

Xbox One Factory Reset be sure to choose Reset and keep my games & apps and have your Microsoft Account information available to sign back in with no issue after the reset.

un fortunately that didn't work got to 15% again really lost as what to do was fine before it needed this up date any ideas as to what I can do

the system update failure. If you have, you may wish to use our
System Update solution which can help you closer pinpoint what may be happening with the update failure.

hi the codes the xbox shows was not on of the owns available the codes the xbox show are 0x8B0500B6 and 0x00000201 any ideas what te problem can be sice the soft reset I carnt get past the update before I could at least play games or dvds now I carnt to

full factory reset and
offline system update. The full factory reset will remove all accounts from the console so the email addresses and passwords must be known. The full factory reset will remove games and applications from the console as well. The link Ezra provided contains
