EDIT: i've just logged on at work and the system update seems to have stuck? i havn't changed anything, infact the only thing i did since going home and updating my home console with the update (again) was install Lollipop Chainsaw to my HDD.

  3. My xbox 360 Phat Hard drive is not working.

Contact xbox support, your hard drive may need to be replaced. You seem to be stuck in an update loop, the console will work fine with another HDD, but there seems to be a corruption in the HDD you are currently using that does not allow the system update
    to install correctly.

  5. Ive tried this repeatedly, as well as powercycling, and nothing has worked. I finally gave up hope and tried to reformat the HDD, but every time I try, it fails to format, so Im left with an unformatable HDD and a console that takes 5 minutes to load a game.......I
think its time to buy a One lol

I had a similar issue just now. Would be nice to have a choice to update later. Middle of a match and "time to update" nooooo!
