System update right in the middle of a game

in the middle of a multiplayer match on warframe, the screen goes blank and then pops up with "its time to update" then I have to wait while the update is done.

surley the XB1 shouldn't force updates when you're playing something right?

Update for system has terrible timing

Every single time i have an update for the system i am in the middle of a pvp game. Stupid thing forces me to choose to update or turn off the system, but does not close thr game i was playing basically making it seem as if im simply just not playing at
all. There needs to be an option to update later or have it only update when the system is turned on, not in the middle of a game.

Yea on karg island the construction site is really annoying for that. It's such a high traffic space with tons of sniper spots yet you are constantly fighting trying to see behind the giant blue letters in your face.

 

Was watching YouTube when the update force applied, no so annoying as playing a multiplayer match but hey no warning and nothing on the net about it. Could be a security update that could not wait with all the hacking going on lately.

 

That update was not normal. I would like to know why it rush like that. It been on for not even 30 minutes watching tv. . It could had been updated anytime before that or 15 minutes later after I leave for work (its one of the advantages of having the
xbox sleeping instead of Off right)

For me it's either an ugly bug or we been hack.

Now I don't thrust this xbox. Cover your kinect, be sure your pc have a firewall and change your Microsoft password lol

 

It was an update with some fixes, as far as I know the Xbox one doesn't know when you go to work or when you intend to play a game/watch tv.

 

No update here guys, well not for me anyways.

You should of got it over the weekend 14th/15th unless Major Nelson was talking about this coming weekend it doesn't have new features just a few fixes.

 

I usually know these are coming and get them at start-up, this one just popped up while I was in the middle of a quest on DA:I - trying to finish it prior to going to work this morning. Annoying.

Microsoft doesn't know my work schedule and they don't need to frankly. But the GD console knows I'm playing a game. Maybe a notification to update so you can choose to do it later or next time the console starts?? If it is some urgent security issue, I
don't mind so much but tell me so at least!

 

It does know when it is turn off and that's when it usually update. And I got the February update last week by the way this thing this morning is still to be explained.

 

Its a small update which was released to the preview program after the main update was released to you, that small update was released over the weekend, if it doesn't auto update you have the manual update option in Settings/System, if you don't use that
it will force you to update.
