System update - now my xbox won't stay on

I did a system update yesterday, and now my xbox automatically shuts down about 15 secs after powering it on, I cant use my xbox currently. Ive tried contacting live chat support, but i cant get though. Ive also contacted xbox support via twitter, have
yet to hear back. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

Xbox stuck in update mode, can't install update from disc.

My xbox won't go to dashboard, it just is stuck at this screen. I recently had repairs done to it and we missed a lot of updates.

The Update is on the CD when I turn the console on It says:

"System update"

"Applying update"

And the bar won't move and then it displays

"System Update stopped"

"Can't read Update from disc"

"22FB-335A-B800-0F00-C000-0013"

And then it will just stay on that screen and won't continue to the dashboard.

There are no memory cards or USBs plugged in, just the cd in the drive. I have tried it on a USB too, but that isn't working either. Any ideas?

 

My Xbox S won't stay on.

I bought an xbox one s in August or September. I don't play it all the time, but once and while I'll turn it on and watch a movie or play Halo and/or Skyrim or something. The last time it was used was probably right after Skyrim was re-released for the next
gen consoles. I had no problems back then. But today, I turned it on and watched a movie. Then--all of a sudden, it started turning itself off for no reason. I can have amazon prime running for about five minutes before it turns off. But if I try and start
a game, it shuts down before reaching the title screen. It won't let me turn it on with the controller either.

I've tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions. I took it out of the surge protector and put it directly in the wall. I unplugged all the cords and let it sit for about a minute. I unplugged the cord itself from the console and the wall so that the system
could reset itself. I've tried turning off my PS4, so that it was the only thing on besides the tv. It won't stay on for more than a minute or two. I'm not sure if the fan is even running because it seems quieter than i remember.

What do I do?

 

some more info, now that ive talked to support. My xbox is connected via Wifi, and ive tried connecting it to a power strip and directly to the wall. THe light in the power cube starts out orange, then goes to white, and then back to orange when it shuts
down
