    System Update help.


    Okay, I know that others have had issues with this before. I have been trying to connect to live and keep getting told that there is a system update available. When I try to download it, however, after roughly five minutes or so I receive an error message
    saying that it cannot be downloaded with the status error code: 416B-0000-3080-0504-8007-2EE2. I have tried restarting the console and downloading again. I've cleared the system cache. I wired directly into the modem. I've formatted the hard drive. I've even
    downloaded update to a disc and I am still unable to update my system. Nothing works. I'm at my wits end. Is there anything else that can be done that I've yet to find? Please someone help

    System Update help.

    trie putting it onto a usb then replacing the original update file with the new one

    hey man i have been having the same problem and i just figured it out! i tried everything just like you and still couldn't get the update. okay, so i DID use the flash drive to fix it eventually. However, before you do this, go into storage under system
    in the dashboard. then press, in this order, LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X. it will then ask you to delete any system updates. press yes! and then the console will restart, the usb drive will ask you to install and update, and press yes obviously. that's what
    i did and it worked! after hours of trying to fix it. if that doesn't work for you then you might be SOL haha.
