System update finally rolling out....

I updated mine this morning....i had it on all night last night and never got the update...i had to turn it off and after 10 minitues or so the white light on the X1 logo flashed a couple of times than my brick light went orange...turned it on and got the
update bar.

 

At first.... no battery indicator in the bottom right corner of home screen...... I kept trying to figure out why..... then all of a sudden it was there! And now I come home from gym, turn it on and no indicator!

Is there something I'm not understanding???

 

Ummmm.....duh.....ok. I figured it out.

At the home screen..... hit the guide button. Check.

 

Regarding my issue with Powerstar Golf, after a lot of tinkering I resolved the problem. When I ran the calibrate utility, it told me to resize my screen until I could see the green border. I originally had my TV set to 16:9 but changed it to Fit mode
to accommodate this adjustment. I switched my TV back to 16:9 and the softness is gone, the edges on my golfer are sharp now and blurriness I was noticing in green/grid textures is much cleaner now.

 

Anyone know where you go to look at your saved data or does that delete when you delete a game off of the hdd?

 

Go to games and apps and if you click on a game then Right Bumper you will see save game data. You can choose to delete off console or from console and cloud.

Yes it has been rolled out to the UK.

Press the guide button when on the dashboard. If you see the battery indicator in the lower right corner you have the update.

 

Was worried i didnt have it but my console just put the message on screen that i need to update and simple click on install 10 min wait and done

 

Anyone else having an issue with the update? I can't turn off my XBOX now with voice commands - I say XBOX Turn Off and it brings up the "Yes/No" screen, but I can scream YES or NO until I am blue in the face and it does absolutely nothing. I have to turn
on the controller and manually select it.

Everything worked fine before the update.

 

Yes, goat that has happened to me twice in two days. I did a hard reset both times and it fixed it. I also have been having an issue with going to the home screen out of games and apps and it freezing on a black screen. Again had to do a hard reset to
fix it. None of this was happening until the latest system update.

 

Yep same as you FullHornet, the black screen thing is a major issue, having to power off is not good for it I'm sure. It's still there in the background because you can hear it but nothing except a power off will resolve it for me.

There are threads on support forum, UK forums and Reddit all experiencing the same thing and all since the update. They need to fix this quickly but apparently support are telling people their consoles need replacing!
