System Update Feb 11th & March 4th

New March update?

march 4th would be the update 11th for twitch.tv for streaming

 

is there anyway to remove the beta testing of marches update???

They are pushing for March 4th to release the update. March 11th is when Titanfall releases and Twitch gets their app updated (allowing broadcasting).

Will 50 Hz support be added?

 

This is wonderful news and helps restore a bit of my faith

looks good lots of good improvements, I am curious of the "other updates" they don't mention.

 

NO Dolby Digital 5.1 over optical and NO more money from me Microsoft you have sure shown your arrogance this time Microsoft. I don't think people with third party headsets are going to wait around till June hoping you will fix this issue they will vote
with their feet and move on. Marc Whitten you have shown no respect for all the customers who posted here about DD5.1 and all your support staff have done exactly what the Major ordered i.e. get behind Microsoft at all costs. Sony listen to their customers
and you do not understand why your sales are so far behind get with it Microsoft and realise your fan base is shrinking by the minute.

It's also a fact that the console should be able to deal with European TV standards (50 Hz). Live TV and DVDs are all jerky for us Europeans.

So is it coming or not?

@Bam, There is no official word on whether 50HZ will be included or not. I know that isn't the answer you want to hear, there are many asking questions including myself on things we hope are included. Unfortunately at this point we can hope an official word
is put out and hope for the best.

People like you keep saying the sales are down, and yet it really isn't very far off, and its much to early in the game to make any claim to who is going to do better. MS hasn't even opened up to half the markets that Sony has, and they're only marginally
behind. As for DD5.1, it sucks that you haven't been able to use your headsets, but it will no doubt come. For the majority of players, this isn't an issue. Myself I have Uncompressed 7.1 to my receiver & play it through the system I shelled out tons of money
for. It sucks that you have to be patient, but patience is a virtue.
