System update failure

okay so I have been off of Xbox for about 6 months. With that being said it’s far behind on the latest system updates. So I’ve tried to get back on and download the system update it has available, yet it will download the full update as need be for step
1 of the process. When it gets to step 2 which is to verify the update it pulls up an error code that I cannot find on any support website anywhere. Anybody have a solution to my problem ?

Ok thanks for info, so because i got my Xbox fixed by a 3rd Party company, means that my xbox is screwed unless i take it to Microsoft?. Isnt that in America or some *** i live in New Zealand. Is it worth the hastle :/ ?

No as we are testing ahead before it becomes public release for bugs and performance

Thats what the insiders program is all about

2080 is not the general release nor is osu able to access it

Only by removing the console from insiders beta app on windoes 10 pc can you use the general release

Then rwturn to insidrrs if you want

Insirrs vrrsion is alwyas higher then cutrent general release

Which is why you cant use osu without uaing the app

R/xboxinsiders is for all insiders program related issues but as mentiomed you can just remove the console and go back to public

The insidrrs version number will oy be the same as general release when the build becomes public but insiders build would be well past that build

Since 4050 is still in beta you cant use osu

As the article you posted mentioned it is only a insidrrs beta not public release

Released this week actually so its not possible that it is public release yet

but, have you tried to do an Offline System Update? If not, I would suggest trying an

Offline System Update to try and resolve the issue with the Update.

Hey GMCG1, Unfortunately the update is mandatory and there is no way around it. The only solution would be to send the Xbox for repair since that error code states to contact Xbox Support, but here is a forum with some possible solutions and error codes

hello, @ValorousChief01. i need to have a better understanding of what your problem is. did it prompt you for a update when you inserted the game or was it an Xbox Live update that you received when you turned on the console ?
