System Update Failed

I havnt connected to Xbox Live in a month because there was something wrong and I figured I could download the update to a USB drive so I did so....it said it updated and it even restarted my Xbox....but when it turned back on and this is word for word:

"A system update is required to sign in to Xbox Live, but the update is currently unavailable. If the problem persists, visit
www.xbox.com/support."

I visited the site and there really isn't much to help me and there is no status codes I even tried deleting the update from the USB and my system and re-downloading, nothing seems to work....Please help

Tried the sync button power off as suggested. No change. Still going straight to the error screen. Frustrating...

 

Failed system update

I cant access the dashboard. Upon turning the power on, it goes straight to the error screen after a brief attempt to finish the download. No options are available. Pushing the xbox button or any other button does nothing.
