Discus and support System tampering (hacking) in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have been an xbox live member and never came across a situation like this.     I have been an xbox live member and never came across a situation like this. The gamer with the gamertag of [mod removed] is hacking peoples accounts and taking their IP adresses and booting them offline for 30 minutes to weeks at a time. I've honestly had
    enough don't like my experience.

    Is abuse of the reporting system against TOS?

    I know some ppl on xbox live ( Forza 4 ) that report others for tampering/cheating because they cause crashes intentionally. Is this abuse of the system?

    The so called cheaters are not tampering/hacking the system just not exactly playing by the rules. Would like some clarification.

    While I am not certain that this kind of thing actually violates the COC, his actions ARE that of a poor sport. You can file a complaint, but as I said, I am not sure this falls into a COC violation, so I am not sure much will be done. While I realize this
    stinks really bad, I think your best course of action would be to use the avoid player function, and move on. It is really hard to say exactly what happened, as you did not loose your internet connection. If it had been a DDos attack, you would have been disconnected,
    so this does not seem to be the answer. This is why I am uncertain if whatever happened violates the COC.

    Why not just Avoid, Block communications and, Report this Gamer??? Change your IP address if you feel worried and move on.

    Well for One you are not hacked, it look like you where ban form Waw online play for being in a hacked lobby. You may want to send the gamertag to the Xblpet and file hime for system tampering and he will be ban.

    What The Bio360 said was to send the gamertag of the guy who hacked him to XBLPet and then File a complaint on his own against the person using system tampering as the reason.

    One question - shouldn't using gamertag names that reference system tampering (mod and hacks) result in a forced name change (or perma-ban if there's one too many name changes)? But yeah, if you saw the invite from a gamertag like this, you should have
    filed a complaint on him (maybe two since it's both for GT and system tampering).
