    System status prevented sale


    I recently seen Xbox one games and movies for sale on a New Year deals event on games. In the games they had Forza Motorsports 7 for 38$ and some change. When I tried to purchase the game on sale it told me the system was having issues or something to that
    nature. I check the status and and number of things had problems. I signed up for a text notification when the service was back and up. A couple days later I check to see if card works again even though service is still down and it accepts the 50$ Xbox card.
    I then look to purchase the game and it's went back up. No one's fault but still a bummer.

    Any minor things you want in the new Xbox?

    I wouldn't mind having an upgraded cooling system that actually prevented the system from overheating. I've had abysmal luck with this.

    System Update Error: 8B050033 (System Update Error: 8B050033)

    Solution

    This happens when the Xbox servers are being serviced. Try again later.

    That is not a solution since the status website is showing all green https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

    Am I the only one that has this problem?

    And why a system update should prevent me to play?

    Me and my friend are getting this too. It's preventing me from signing in. Like, I go to sign in, my profiles come up for me to pick, but the highlight is in the background and doesn't let me pick my profile. When I was signed in I went to play Battlefield
    V and it kept saying it needed an update even though there where no updates for it.

    Look at the Xbox live status page - http://support.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-live-status

    The Service is down, so its preventing people from using any codes until the status is resolved.
