System shuts down - service nightmare

I am going to try to make this as to the point as possible, so PLEASE bare with me.

I've had my xbox one for less than a year. It worked fine for a couple months, then started shutting down unexpectedly. Only did it every now and then, until it finally would just shut down after five minutes every time I turned it on. Tried advance exchange
service. They send me a kinect instead of a console. Send it back. Sent xbox one console to service without advance exchange. Gone a month and they send it back. Turn it on, five minutes later it shuts off. I sent the xbox BACK to service. I was
told if they could not figure out the problem, they would replace the console. I got my console back today with a letter stating they found no problem with my console so they just sent it back to me. Turned it on, it worked for 10 minutes before it shut
off. Now it is shutting off five minutes after it is turned on, just like before. When I turn the console back on, it says it turned off due to overheating. It has always said this since before the first service.

Now, I have spent two months of my warranty period with no xbox in my possession. Before you ask, the console is not in a cabinet. Beside my cabinet I have a small stand alone table where NOTHING but my xbox one console sits. I have even taken a plate
and placed it under the console to ensure there is ventilation above and under the console. The power supply is also sitting on a hard surface, outside of the cabinet, alone. It couldn't possibly receive more ventilation. The light on my power supply stays
orange. It has never blinked or flashed. Originally my power supply was plugged into a power strip. Per xbox troubleshooting advice, I plugged the power supply directly into the wall. That is where it has been plugged in since before my first service. I
have operated an xbox 360 from this outlet, a gaming PC, and a PS4. I have never had any problem running any other unit from this power outlet.

Has ANYBODY dealt with an issue like this? I just want a working xbox. I am approaching the end of my warranty and am frankly just sick and tired of not having a working xbox (after I spent $700 on this one). ANY advice?

if 360 servers get shut down then would't the xbox one servers be shut down? arent they the same live service?!
