System requiring updates almost every day

Hi guys and girls.

My friend has an Xbox one that has begun needing an update almost every day.

This is not a simple small update, but seemingly the whole thing, almost every day, including the update installation.

Has anybody previously encountered this? Are there any known fixes for this?

Witcher 2 disc wont load on my One

It is also requiring me to redownload the update every time I uninstall and reinstall

 

I've run the system update for the third time today...

The console has been requiring me to run the System Update several times a day intermittently for quite a while now.

I cleared the cache and it's still asked multiple times since then and then downloaded and reinstalled it.

What could be causing this?

 

How big is the update and have you opted in to the Preview programme?

If you're in the Preview programme, over the past five or so days there have actually been four updates, all of roughly the same size. If that's it, then it's nothing unexpected.

Let us know either way.

 

I'm in the preview program, and I noticed the 4 updates. They were about 250mb per update. I thought it was weird, but didn't think anything of it too much. I figured it was just a bug in the update, and since it didn't seem to hurt anything, I just let
it go.

 

Hi, i have been having this problem aswell, i am in the update preview program however i have had 1768 mb per update, i've done it twice and it just seems that after the console is turned off it will need to be done again. As i use mobile broadband i do
have a small limit on how much i can spend update per month and i already am not going to be updating it again.

 

Reboot your console.if your in the beta you will almost defo get updates daily

 

I'm in the preview as well and noticed 250mb+ updates daily as well. Todays though seems to be having an issue. Keeps giving me an error on downloading it.

 

I am part of the preview program also, I have been getting updates daily for 2 months now, 248mb to 258mb seems to be the size of 'em it is so annoying

 

I get an update literally every day. Its rather annoying....
