System powers off when inserting advanced warfare

Hi

I just received advanced warfare this morning and whenever I insert the disc into the system it starts to read the disc and then suddenly powers down.is this the system or perhaps the game disc?

controller will not turn on with mic connected

I'm having the same problem. Started last night in the middle of playing Advanced Warfare. Anyone find a fix yet? I've updated the firmware as the op said he did. Couldn't do it with the chat headset attached since it powers off even when connected via USB.

Edit* Also, you've got some clips of Advanced Warfare, but for some reason when you compare games, Advanced Warfare doesn't come up anywhere...

We've got firsthand experience with this one, and the issue is a little more prevalent than PlayStation's equivalent. If you buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on disc, beware not to allow the game's update to download when you first insert the disc into
your Xbox One. We said yes, and the game was unable to install from the disc. It ends up looping between "Installing" and "Queued," occasionally spinning up the disc, then quitting, then spinning again, then quitting again, ad infinitum. In the business, we
call that "pretty whack." If you end up in this situation, we've got a tested solution -- and it works, at least on my Xbox One -- care of Crave Online:

1.Remove the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from the Xbox One disc tray.

2.Navigate to My Games & Apps, then select the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and hit the Xbox One gamepad's Menu button.

3.Select "Uninstall game" and hit A

4.Re-insert your Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game disc

5.When asked whether you want to install the game's update, select "Update later"

6.The game will install like normal! Hooray!

I had to turn off my router, remove the disc, delete the Advanced Warfare "install", hard boot the Xbone-1, and then re-insert the disc and install offline. Once the offline install was done it downloaded a 250Mb update, so no its not an issue with the
update or their servers, its the stupid Xbone-1.

Sorry to hear about the download issue! Let's try Uninstalling and Reinstalling Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Before reinstalling, perform a power console on the
Xbox One console. Once the power cycle has been done, reinstall the game without the console powering off or losing network connection. Follow the steps below:

Uninstall Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
Once the Xbox One has powered off, remove the power cable from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Plug the power back into the Xbox One console and try reinstalling Call of Duty: Advance Warfare.

After following the steps, and the download still stops at a certain percentage, post back so we can help get this issue sorted!
