    System notifications not going away.

Since installing the June update, whenever an achievement is unlocked or a game records a clip, the notification pops but then won't go away until I actively look at it. This is quite annoying when playing games. I don't want to have to turn off the system
notifications as I like knowing when I've unlocked achievements. What's going on?

    :)

    Constant Notification

Try going into your system settings and adjust the option for notifications.

I had this issue about a month or so ago. Not sure what caused it but it just randomly happened.

A quick power cycle solved the issue for me so give it a go.

    1. While the console is on, press and hold the console’s Xbox button for 5 seconds.
    2. The console will power down.
    3. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn your console back on by again pressing the Xbox button.
Try this and see if it fixes your issue.

Honestly, I've had this console since March and I must have hard reset this thing a least 100 times. It's really ridiculous.

I'm having this same issue. Some times the achievement notification is fine and goes away within a few seconds of appearing on screen. Other times it takes forever to go away unless I look at it.

Yes but it happens soon after restarting anyways so even if I do restart I'll just be where I started. I've noticed that achievements from apps are better at going away than game apps. The achievements that I got from Destination Brazil went away fine but
game apps seemed to be the ones that stuck around.

I have the same problem. The pop up, stay until I snap/open the Cheevos App. I've powered cycled multiple times and it doesn't seem to help the issue.

  12. I just got mine fixed. My record and achievement notifications would not go away. Go to your power settings and n uncheck "resume games quickly" option, then hold xbox button on console to do a hard reset. Restart and enjoy!

I am having this problem with a Netflix achievement that won't go away. I don't know what to do about it. I Uninstaller the app and it was still there. And I reboot.
