System not updating??

I bought an xbox one yesterday and COD balck ops 3. When I first turned the system on I needed to update it. I did and it took several hours. Then I installed the game, again that took forever. When it was done I went to start playing the game online and
I got a screen that said my xbox needed another update (over 3 GB) in order to play the game online. I clicked yes because after this message I couldn't even play the game in campaign mode. I started the update and it wouldn't go past 2% after over an hour.
I looked on line at some things and I uninstalled the game, restarted my system and took it offline. I reinstalled the game with no problems and again when I went to play it asked for an update. I went back online to update it and now it gets to 2% and stops
and I have to restart the download again. It keeps doing this. I am getting really upset that I've had this new system for over a day now I can't get anything to work on it.

REDICULOUS! I should not have to do that.. especially prior to this update we all had that has spawned this issue. so ticked.

system not starting

i was playing halo 4 when my friend said he couldnt sign in so i saved and exited and took his harddrive and put it in my xbox i have the r2d2 so its newish i can say and i keep it in good shape it didnt work so he cant sign in and play games now i
put my harddrive back in and its doing the same thing that his did it loads up then before i can see the dashboard it freezes what can i do to fix this problem? i would verry much so like to get back to starting up halo 4 as i just bought it and ill be verry
dissapointed if i need to get a wole new xbox :\

Hey mate,

I had a similar issue with Blops 3 update. It'd just continually stop on me. Have you tried just leaving it? I had my one stop, but then after a couple of minutes it'd start up again, then stop then start, but eventually it finished, however just took a
bit longer then normal. Think it ended up taking close to an hour from memory

So, what are you trying to tell me? My post was refering to HALLOWEEN PRANK's. Don't you think that would have produced the correct answer? "Skydrive" is not the most complex term in the end. But some poeple obviously prefer asking silly questions instead
of using their own brain.

I don't have a different HDD but this is a 60gb one and I've only played L.A. Noire and Fifa 11 on it so it should have plenty of space I would imagine.

Ah Hughesnet, I guess you have the HT1000 modem. You'll need to disable web acceleration if that's the case.

Try my suggestion in the thread above please, it does work. Should you at some point in the future need to reset the modem you will need to disable web acceleration again.
