System Language Bug

Hi there

I'm from Switzerland (from the german part) but i prefer my Xbox and games to be in english. So i set my system language to english and location to Switzerland. Now while most of my sytem UI and all games are in english now, some things - such as sales and
featured content - are displayed in french. Changing the language region doesn't make a difference. Any idea how to get this text displayed in either english or german, but definitely not french?

I already posted this issue once half a year ago, but after following
the instructions in the thread, a follow-up chat with xbox support, a bunch of chaning settings and powercycling in the meantime, the issue still persists. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Please make it possible to set language to English!

the xbox live dashboard follows the supported language of your account region thats not a bug

only in system settings are it not affected

Could you please check whats your Microsoft Account language is set to? You can access that by following these steps:

1. Go to Billing Account Information.

2. Sign in using your Microsoft account.

3. If multiple languages are supported for your country or region, select a language from Preferred Language.

Note The Preferred Language option does not appear if only one language is supported (for example, in the United States).

4. Click Save.

It may take up to 24 hours for this change to take effect .

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately, i can't quite figure out where to get to that setting... Are ypu talking about the xbox settings or microsoft's website? When i go to payment and billing on my xbox, all i can do is add a new payment option and remove
my paypal account. Could you maybe give me some dumb-proof steps? Thanks!

No luck unfortunately It was already set to german, but i switched it to french and back and the same on the console. After a reboot, half the UI is still french. Kinda running out of options, any more ideas? Starting to think it might be a bug.

 

If it still hasnt updated, could it be possible that you are currently a member of the Preview Programm?

It hasn't updated still after a couple days and reboots, still french... No, I'm not a member of the Preview Programm and never have been.
