System Error: E102 10040C02 80004005

How do I solve this error code? I have done all of the troubleshooting steps multiple times. But the thing that isn't working is the offline update. I downloaded the update on my 8gb usb drive and inserted it in the xbox, but the option for offline system
update is still grayed out. I don't have a LAN cable connected, I waited untill the xbox startup sound beeped twice, and I inserted the usb before turning on the xbox. I just don't know how to fix it. Error Code: E102 10040C02 80004005.

"I've tried the USB factory reset, along with the Sync/Eject shortcut with the exact same results. The error that keeps coming up is (E102 10040C02 80004005). E102 is a failure to boot/ error when booting up, hence the previous troubleshooting."

If you are in a Insider preview, you cannot use USB factory reset, (OSU) unless you unenroll from the preview first.

E102 error generally means the hardware is failing and you will need to setup a repair if you can't get to the troublshooting screen when you boot up.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

I found this information regarding the E102 error. The issue may be resolved by doing a factory reset.
