System doesn't track offline achievements.

For the longest time, if I was playing offline, I could get on a few days later and it would retroactively unlock my achievements that I would have unlocked while playing.

I have found something that is in direct correlation to this. When you hit the guide button you will see white tabs on the left for your friends, messages, achievements...etc. When you are offline, all those tabs except the Notification and Settings tab
are greyed out. However, when I turn off my system, unplug my power, move the console to a different location that doesn't have internet... when I get back on all those tabs are still highlighted, even though there is no connection. I can see my most recent
messages, but wont let me open them, and if my friends were playing something at the time I unplugged my console, they will show up still playing that game. ALL WHILE OFFLINE.

Now, I went and bought an Xbox One S. It seemed to fix the problem for a little while, but now even that console is doing the same thing. When the console properly greys out the tabs, it tracks achievement progress while offline. If it's glitched (?)
and shows my online menu while I'm offline, then it does NOT track achievement progress while offline.

Since I now have 2 Xbox One's that are doing the same thing, is there ANYONE else who has had this issue and knows how to work around it?

Achievements Offline Issues...

I really thinks that it's about time that WE can keep track and/or unlock our Achievements on the Xbox One offline. I go through many Issues with different games cause I cant access the Achievements App or keep track of them offline,
making me loose time on collecting everything on a game or Achieving hard challenges.... and in the end, it doesn't even give US our hard earned achievements.... Can the Xbox Team work with this issue so We get an Update and be able to keep track of our Achievements

Xbox live connection error.

Yeah can complete everything offline however it doesn't allow me to sign into a profile so it tracks no achievements. and when you try to manually sign in while mortal kombat is on it wont sign in. sucks =/

 

Well, I found a way to replicate this. If someone could verify I'd appreciate it.

Disconnect from your wifi network and go offline. Right now your Xbox One should be offline properly with the tabs greyed out. It will track offline achievements.

Unplug your system for about 15 minutes (or however long it takes to power cycle) and replug it and start it up. Bam. Online tabs are available while offline (Being able to see friends playing games WHILE OFFLINE), and offline achievement tracking doesn't
work.

Hmm. Odd! If you're trying to play your Xbox One console offline, double check that it's set to

offline mode. If you still run into this issue, I'd recommend trying a
factory reset of your console. You can start by keeping your games and apps and seeing if that helps.

I've already set it to offline mode and did a factory reset multiple times. I even bought a NEW console, and it still does it.

However, I THINK I found a work around. Going to the main dash, if I hit left to go to the tabs and then right to go back to the main dashboard and continue doing this over and over, it eventually gives me a message about Cortana and then gives me an error
saying "0x87b20c08" and then properly goes into offline mode.

Tried looking that code up, but didn't get anything to come up.

Also, please note that this has happened on multiple Xbox One's ever since the July Update.
