System crashing after update

I did A software update about 2 weeks ago. Issues I have:

• System freezes randomly
• when xbox loads it takes almost 2 minutes for my xbox to load my homepage
• Xbox fails to load profile. Everything is gone. Have to reset console
• wont read discs anymore and if it does, it freezes randomly
• takes forever to load apps, causes issues with the app, and when returning to home screen it takes awhile to load
  

it just asked me tonight to do another software update and it failed the first time and was successful the second time however the only thing I see fixed is my profile will load now.

Xbox wont boot past logo after failed system update

try using an older update not the latest one from Microsoft as this is probably crashing your system

 

Crashing on save ever since latest Dashboard update

Anyone else having problems with Skyrim crashing during saves(after the xbox dashboard update)?

if you think the issues have been there since that update I advise to try these steps, it should do a rollback on an update, which could result in it fixing the problems:

On your console, go to Settings hub, and then select System.

Select Storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence:

1.Press the left bumper.

2.Press the right bumper.

3.Press the X button.

4.Press the left bumper.

5.Press the right bumper.

6.Press the X button.

No. This did not work. And today it won't show my profile at all. Even after I reset. When it starts up with the xbox 360 logo it takes like 3 minutes to load my homepage.

 

Try removing the hard drive (if present) like mentioned here, to see if that makes a difference:

support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive

If console wants to update, skip that, just check if console performs any better or not
