    So, I'm trying to play Destiny but I keep getting removed from Xbox Live and getting the Error Codes, but I also get removed from Xbox Live.

    It has only been happening on this game, and it happened a few times while I was playing BO2. Someone told me that if I clear my System Cache my Xbox should stop doing this and return back to normal.

    My question now is: What does this do? How will it affect my Xbox and will this actually help me in regards to this stopping and me being allowed to play my game freely? This is on the 360 also.

    Oh you don't need to restart the console each time you cleared the cache. You could have just done it 3 times in a row (Press Y > Clear Cache > Press Y > Clear Cache, etc.). But glad you're all set.

    Clearing the cache is, essentially, deleting temporary files, like you get when browsing online on our computer. Clearing these out allows your console to request certain data again, like title updates, in order to update to the newest / most current data.

    If it is only happening in Destiny you should search out the error code you get from them as well. The Bungie site will explain some steps to try to fix the issue or what the code means.

    Found this out over the weekend. Unlike the Xbox 360 the only way to clear the system cache is to first press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds with the system on. I believe this should shut the console off, if not press it again to turn off console.
    Once the console is completely off(you can't hear any sound from the console), unplug from the power supply and leave off for a few minutes. Now plug back in and power up with the ON/OFF button. This will have cleared the cache and you should be good to go,
    without having to re-download everything.

    Issues with your Xbox 360 console can often be resolved by removing temporary files and data from the system cache. The cache stores such items as game updates, system update installation packages, and gamer pictures of your friends.

    Clearing the Xbox 360 cache does not remove:

    •Your gamertag

    •Content that you have downloaded

    •Game files

    •Console software updates

    Note: Clearing the cache temporarily removes previously downloaded game updates. You will be prompted to download these updates again the next time you try to play the games

    1.Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

    2.Select Storage or Memory.

    3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

    4.Select Clear System Cache.

    5.When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

    Greetings, Watery Viper. Let's back up a little bit here. To start, can you please take a look at this troubleshooting guide titled "Screen Freeze Solution"?
    It will offer some good troubleshooting steps which will help shed light on the source of the issue.



    In addition, I would not recommend using compressed air. If possible, I would, however, recommend using a light vacuum. That is a much better option and should cause no harm to the inner workings of your console.

    Most new games have bugs, thats why they send out patches all the time. What you need to do though - as a gamer, is use the support sites for the game publishers etc. That way they are made aware of the issue and the numbers of users with the issue.

    yes the new ridge racer froze once,i know for a fact lego star was 3 the clone wars frozze muitlpe times, manage to beat and get everything on the game but had no problem with lego harry potter 2 on it, u think its cause i have a older elite? plus i have
    it install to the hardrive as well, i always do that, plus like i said i have a disc cleaner for it too , and as pently of room to breathe, plus its fusrating to play a game u really want and like, and spend the money on it tooo , so i hope they have a update
    to fix the problem of lego batman 2 cause its such a great game to b played.
